SAFETY is a heartrending, powerful, triumphant movie . Ray has a full football scholarship to Clemson, a football powerhouse in the NCAA. He’s also extremely bright. At first, Ray is overwhelmed by taking too many course credits as well as the football training. Then, when their mother is forced to go to rehab after being caught with some drugs, Ray decides to hide his little brother at Clemson. When this is discovered the football coach tries to help Ray, but an NCAA official intervenes.

CRUELLA is based on the female villain in 101 DALMATIANS. Estella’s mother dies when three Dalmatians attack her, pushing her off a cliff. Now an orphan, Estella meets two orphaned boys who steal to survive. The three grow up, and Estella becomes adept at creating fashion designs that con people so they can steal from them. Estella gets a break and is hired by The Baroness, the best fashion designer in the business. Estella is excited until the Baroness takes credit for all her designs. So, Estella creates an alter-ego named Cruella and shows up everywhere the Baroness is to upstage her.

THE WATER MAN follows a family facing hardships. Gunner is a very bright young man, who loves to read and do research. When his mother, Mary, gets sick, he longs to help and learn more about her disease. When Gunner finds out about a man with eternal life, he believes the man can help his mother. Gunner and his father, Amos, are not seeing eye-to-eye and can’t seem to get along, which may have to do with his mother’s illness. A troubled girl named Jo tells Gunner about a man who has eternal life. With her help, Gunner runs away into the mountains to find the Water Man.

SPIRIT UNTAMED is an enjoyable, wholesome animated adventure for the family. Lucky has a penchant for getting into trouble. So, her wealthy grandfather sends Lucky with her Aunt Cora to live in the country with her father. On the train ride, they see some beautiful wild horses running alongside the train. Lucky’s father is trying to figure out how to care for his daughter, because his wife, Lucky’s mother, died when Lucky was very young. Lucky develops a desire to tame one of the beautiful horses she saw running with the train. However, when a gang of men steals the horses, Lucky and her friends must come up with a plan to rescue them.

BLUE MIRACLE is a wonderful drama on Netflix. Omar is on the brink of losing the beloved all-boys orphanage in Cabo, Mexico that he and his wife, Becca, run. He enters a fishing competition with a fisherman named Wade. Omar and Wade are paired up in the competition by the man running it, even though they aren’t happy about it. Wade has won the competition twice, but now is a grumpy, jaded fisherman who doesn’t want to deal with Omar’s orphan boys.

Tom the cat and Jerry the mouse get kicked out of their home and relocate to a fancy New York hotel,
where a scrappy employee named Kayla will lose her job if she can’t evict Jerry before a high-class
wedding at the hotel. Her solution? Hiring Tom to get rid of the pesky mouse.

What an awesome movie, first one was great my favorite movie hands down. Thought it would be tough to come close but damn they did a great job at it, made me chuckle couple times. Especially when Eddie was singing, also Eddie and Arsenio man their roles in both Coming to America and Coming 2 America can never be beaten. Gotta love Eddie. Great reunion of the cast as well!!! Eddie and Arsenio both are great with playing different characters, Eddie is champ at it tho. That is my first movie that i saw right when it got released and i ain’t complaining. Everyone should watch both the movies people who haven’t or don’t want to are missing out on the fun!

Last thing, everyone who gave it a lower star than 5 either hate to appreciate any movie fully, or just can’t give the credit to this great edition to part 1

NOELLE follows the story of a young woman named Noelle Kringle who’s passionate about Christmas. After her father dies, she helps her brother, Nick, train to become the new Santa. When Nick gets overwhelmed by the pressure of becoming Santa, Noelle encourages Nick to get away for a weekend to relax. However, when Nick doesn’t return, the North Pole panics to find a new Santa. After a bad choices, the town decides that Noelle is the right fit, but can she pull it off?
NOELLE is very entertaining, heartwarming and joyful. The cast does a great job. It’s fun to watch their journeys. NOELLE has a strong moral worldview that promotes kindness, hope and family. The title character takes over the family trade so her brother can be happy. Also, she explains that Christmas makes people nicer, gives them hope, and makes them be more selfless. However, NOELLE contains some slapstick violence and fails to mention Jesus or the biblical elements of Christmas. Also, the movie has some politically correct feminist moments, magic and references to Buddhism and Hinduism. Extreme caution is advised.

NOELLE begins as a young girl and boy are sleeping on Christmas Eve, waiting for Santa to arrive. When Santa enters through the chimney, a young Noelle jumps out and surprises him, and Santa reveals that Noelle and Nick are his children. Nick receives the Santa hat for Christmas, meaning he will take over the family business when Santa retires.

The story jumps to the present, and Noelle and Nick are all grown. It’s the first Christmas that Nick will be Santa, as their father passed away months prior. Nick is hesitant to be Santa as he can’t master the traits such as flying the sleigh, understanding the naughty/nice list, or speaking different languages. Nick begins cracking under the pressure, and Noelle suggests he escape to a nice warm place over the weekend.

Nick leaves for Phoenix but doesn’t return over the weekend. Noelle reveals to the North Pole that she was the one who suggested that Nick take a weekend vacation. The whole town turns on her and replaces Nick with their cousin named Gabe. Gabe tries to make too many changes to the Christmas tradition, and the town is furious. To fix her mistake, Noelle travels to Phoenix and hires a private investigator to track down Nick.

After locating Nick in Phoenix, Noelle encourages him to come home, but he wants to stay in Phoenix. After convincing Nick to come home, he tells the entire North Pole that Noelle should be the new Santa. Noelle agrees to becoming Santa and leaves on Christmas Eve to deliver gifts. Along the way, she stops and gives gifts to all the people she met in Phoenix. Noelle arrives back at the North Pole and reveals that her job was successful.

NOELLE is very entertaining, joyful and is heartwarming. The movie also has some great comedy moments of outlet malls during the holidays and reindeer that eat junk food. The movie has a fun and fantastic cast made up of Anna Kendrick, Bill Hader, Shirley MacLaine, and Kingsley Ben-Adir. Also, the North Pole set is very imaginative and will excite any child who sees it.

GODZILLA VS. KONG starts with Godzilla going on a rampage against the Apex Corporation, a powerful company studying his atomic energy. The head of the company finds that the origin to Godzilla’s energy is located in the original Hollow Earth home of Godzilla and King Kong. So, he provides some special flying machines to help some scientists take Kong to an entrance into the Hollow Earth. Hopefully, Kong can guide them. However, Kong is wary of humans, except for a little deaf girl who can talk to him using sign language. Also, Godzilla and Kong’s ancestors were mortal enemies, so Godzilla wants to use his fiery energy to destroy Kong.

GODZILLA VS. KONG is pretty much just a spectacular slugfest. However, it provides plenty of big screen thrills and a couple fun surprises. Also, the heart of the movie is Kong’s touching friendship with the little deaf girl. MOVIEGUIDE® advises caution for older children for some foul language and many battles between and against giant monsters. Godzilla and King Kong almost kill one another in GODZILLA VS. KONG.

GODZILLA VS. KONG pits the two monsters against each other when Godzilla suddenly goes on a rampage against a powerful corporation studying the source of his atomic energy and the scientists monitoring Kong take him to his original Hollow Earth home, which appears to contain the source of the giant lizard’s power that, hopefully, can be used against him. GODZILLA VS. KONG is pretty much just a spectacular slugfest, but it provides lots of big screen thrills, and the heart of the movie is Kong’s touching friendship with a little deaf girl who can talk to him using sign language.

The movie opens in the jungle enclosure where the scientists who discovered King Kong are keeping tabs on Kong. The big ape seems to share an affinity with Jia, the deaf adopted daughter of Ilene Andrews, the scientist caring for Kong. Jia lived on Skull Island and was saved by Kong, and Ilene adopted her.

Meanwhile, Godzilla attacks the Florida facility of the Apex Corporation, a scientific research company investigating Godzilla and the atomic energy in his dorsal plates. Bernie Hayes, who hosts a conspiracy theory podcast, has infiltrated Apex and barely escapes when Godzilla attacks. Bernie thinks Apex and its owner, a billionaire named Walter Simmons, are up to no good.

Madison Russell, daughter of the head of special projects at Monarch, a government agency assigned to control Kong and any other giant monsters threatening mankind, is an avid fan of Bernie’s podcasts. She thinks Bernie is onto something, but her father thinks Bernie’s a nut. So, Madison “borrows” the family van of her friend, Josh, to go see Bernie. They all decide to go back to the wrecked Apex facility and investigate.

Meanwhile, the Apex billionaire, Simmons, visits a former Monarch scientist, Nathan Lind, because of Lind’s theories about a hollow earth. Simmons tells Nathan that Apex has discovered a strange new energy source inside the Hollow Earth. They suspect that the Hollow Earth is the original place from where Kong and Godzilla emerged.

Nathan convinces Ilene that Kong can lead them to his home in Hollow Earth. There, Kong will be safe from the rampaging Godzilla while they can locate the energy source that gave Godzilla his powers and use it to stop Godzilla from causing any further damage. Joining them is the Apex billionaire’s daughter, Maya.

They place a sedated and chained Kong on a large battleship and head for Antarctica, where Apex has discovered an entrance to the Hollow Earth. The ship is surrounded by several other battleships. Along the way, however, Godzilla attacks them and eventually renders Kong unconscious. The people and Kong escape with their lives when what’s left of the convoy disables all signs of life, fooling Godzilla into thinking they’re all dead.

As Bernie leads Madison and Josh into Apex’s underground facility in Florida, Kong leads the scientists to his ancestral throne room in the Hollow Earth. The giant room is filled with veins of Godzilla energy. Kong also finds a glowing ax made with the dorsal fin of one of Godzilla’s ancestors. Godzilla has attacked Apex’s facility in Hong Kong, however, and has used the atomic fire ray to cut a tunnel leading to the throne room. Godzilla attacks again, and Kong starts fighting with him. However, Apex and its diabolical owner has a surprise in store or everyone, something he hopes will make him the apex predator on the planet.

MORTAL KOMBAT is a new adaptation of the popular video game franchise. Cole Young, an aspiring MMA fighter, isn’t accustomed to winning fights. However, he discovers he comes from an ancient bloodline of powerful fighters. The evil sorcerer of Outworld sends his best fighter, Sub-Zero, to kill Cole and his family and end the bloodline. Cole escapes and hides his family. While on the run, he meets other fighters and visits the temple of Lord Raiden, the protector of Earth. Lord Raiden trains fighters to defend Earth against Outworld in a deathmatch tournament. Can Cole unlock his potential as a fighter, or will he buckle under the pressure?
MORTAL KOMBAT is full of action and adventure, but it contains graphic violence, strong foul language, and false religion where fighters must unlock their magical energy to receive their superpowers. MORTAL KOMBAT is a new adaptation of the popular video game franchise where an aspiring MMA fighter joins a group of fighters with magical powers to win a deathmatch tournament against a group of evil fighters trying to take over Earth. MORTAL KOMBAT is full of action and adventure and has a good message of the power of family and good over evil, but it has lots of graphic, bloody, brutal violence, strong foul language, and false religious elements about where the fighters get their magical powers.

The movie opens in 17th Century Japan, in a remote and seemingly peaceful Japanese village. Hanzo Hasashi and his wife live with their two children. The idyllic setting turns frightening when Bi-Han, a Chinese warrior with superpowers, and his men appear and murder the entire village. Hanzo hears the screams while he’s out collecting water and rushes to their aid. Unfortunately, it is too late. He puts up a good fight against Bi-Han, who has turned Hanzo’s wife and son into a block of ice, but he’s eventually defeated and sent to Hell. However, their baby is hidden by Lord Raiden, the protector of Earth, thus protecting Hanzo’s bloodline.

Fast forward to present day. Cole Young is training to become an MMA fighter. Although he often loses, he fights to provide for his wife and daughter. After a tough loss, Cole is visited by Jax, a Special Forces Major, who notices Cole has a birthmark shaped like a dragon on his chest.

Cole and his family are getting dinner after the fight but are attacked by the same man from the beginning of the movie, except now he goes by the name Sub-Zero. Jax helps Cole and his family escape and tells them to find Sonya Blade while he stays to fight Sub-Zero.

Cole leaves his family in a safe house. He manages to find Sonya Blade, who’s interrogating a prisoner, a wanted mercenary named Kano. However, when the trio is attacked by an invisible reptile, they release Kano, who ends up helping them defeat the monster. After some persuasion, Kano agrees to show them to Lord Raiden’s Temple.

Upon arrival, Lord Raiden reveals that everyone there has the same dragon marking Cole has and must be trained to fight in a tournament to protect Earth from Outworld, an evil realm ruled by a wicked tyrant. Cole struggles to find his “arcana,” the internal magical source of each fighter’s power. However, after a betrayal, Cole must discover his full potential as a fighter to protect his bloodline and save the universe.

MORTAL KOMBAT is full of action and adventure, including nods to the video game of the same name. However, it contains graphic violence, strong foul language, and some false religion where the fighters must unlock the magical power inside them before receiving the superpower to battle the Outworld’s champions. MORTAL KOMBAT has some positive elements, though. For example, Cole’s willing to do whatever it takes to save his family. The movie also has a sense of good triumphing over evil. MOVIEGUIDE® finds MORTAL KOMBAT to have excessive, unacceptable content and false religion.

UNBRIDLED follows a 16-year-old girl on a journey to freedom from sex trafficking at the hand of her alcoholic mother’s boyfriend, Roger. After Roger is arrested, Sarah finds healing at a horse therapy ranch with other girls with similar stories. While there, Sarah connects with a horse who was also abused. However, when Roger gets out of jail and threatens to kill the horse, Sarah is faced with the challenge of how to respond.
UNBRIDLED has a strong Christian, biblical worldview with a few scattered biblical references and uplifting moments, including depictions of reconciliation and joy. UNBRIDLED’s pacing sometimes feels a bit uneven and other times seems perfectly clear. The cast gives solid performances, but music in a few scenes distracts audiences from events depicted on the screen. Camera shots of horses and scenery are breathtaking but don’t take away from the other points. Due to some violence and conversation about sexual abuse, MOVIEGUIDE® advises caution for sensitive teenagers. UNBRIDLED is based on true stories at Equine Assisted Therapy centers, including the Corral Riding Center in North Carolina.

The movie begins by showing horses running in an open field and fades into the bedroom of 16-year-old girl named Sarah. Sarah tries to sneak out of the house for school but is stopped by her mother’s creepy boyfriend, Roger. A male friend of Sarah’s named Kenny stops by looking for her, but Roger tells him Sarah won’t be at school. Karen, Sarah’s mother, appears with a bruise around her eye, and Roger implores that this “business trip” is very important for him. Moments later Sarah appears in business casual attire for someone much older than 16 and hears Roger cryptically discussing his plans on the phone with a business partner. Meanwhile, Detective Mitchell Sangrin talks on the phone with a colleague trying to get to the bottom of an illegal sex trafficking case involving his missing daughter, Allison.

The next week, Kenny sees Sarah throw lingerie down a street drain on the way to school. Due to her many absences, Sarah is behind on her school work. After class, Kenny tells their teacher what he knows of Sarah’s sketchy home life. Later that evening at the school, Detective Sangrin thanks Kenny for sharing what he knows. Kenny tells the teacher, Miss Bowdren, about Unbridled, a therapy home for recovering abused teenagers.

Detective Sangrin arrests Roger, and Karen is ordered to attend a parenting class. Meanwhile, Sarah is sent to Safe Haven, a home troubled teenagers, but she feels uncomfortable there. When she tours Unbridled with her teacher Miss Bowdren and social worker, however, she stumbles upon Dreamer, a beautiful tan horse who also was rescued from abuse. Sarah’s connection to the horse prompts her to stay, but the adjustment isn’t without its challenges. The other girls at the camp, namely one named Mary, are skeptical of her trustworthiness, but as the days pass, this improves.

A nervous Karen drags herself to file a restraining order against Roger. Yet, somehow, he gets out of jail and makes his way back to the house while she’s gone.

Trying to put the pieces of her life back together, Karen comes to visit Sarah telling her about sobriety and her parenting classes. Although the exchange isn’t terrible, Sarah finds more comfort and safety talking to Felicity, Unbridled’s director, about her similar pain and experiences.

Karen arrives for her parenting class but she’s five minutes late and is told she won’t receive credit for being present. Frustrated, she heads back home only to find a note from Roger with a bottle of alcohol to tempt her sobriety. She gives in and pours herself a glass.

Back at Unbridled, Mary is found laying on the floor from an apparent suicide attempt. In hysteria, the girls call for an ambulance. In the next scene, Sarah and Dreamer continue to bond, learning new riding skills, helping her clear her mind from her current stress. With encouragement from Kenny, Sarah tells Detective Sangrin what she heard Roger say on the phone to his colleague about a girl who could potentially be his daughter, Allison.

Roger comes to Karen’s new place of work and tries to dazzle her with a gold necklace. In the next scene, Sarah and the powers that be meet with Karen to discuss whether Sarah will return to live with her mother again. Sarah refuses, noticing she’s drinking again and probably lying about her ability to keep her safe.

UNBRIDLED has a strong Christian worldview with a few scattered biblical references and uplifting moments including depictions of reconciliation and joy. UNBRIDLED’s pacing sometimes feels a bit uneven and other times seems perfectly clear. The cast gives solid performances, but the music in a few scenes distracts viewers from events happening on the screen. Camera shots of horses and scenery are breathtaking but don’t take away from the other points. Due to some violence and conversation about sexual abuse, James suggests caution for sensitive teenagers.

THE GIRL WHO BELIEVES IN MIRACLES introduces the main character, Sara, as she attends her brother’s high school soccer game. Sara’s brother Danny gets shoved to the ground by his opponent, and the other team scores a goal. Sara’s grandfather, Sam, suggests that Sara prays to God for Danny’s team to win. Sara follows through with his request but wonders why her prayer didn’t work after Danny’s team lost. After the soccer game Sara, Danny and Danny’s girlfriend, Cindy, hike to the lake to catch fish. Sara spots a dead bird and prays over it for the entire time at the lake. Just when they are about to leave, the bird flies out of Sara’s hands. Danny and Cindy are skeptical that Sara brought the bird back to life and believe it was caused by the wind. Although no one believes Sara, she’s secure in her faith and tells her best friend Mark about the bird.

The next day, Sara and Mark are confronted by bullies who make fun of Sara for her bird story. One of the bullies is the opponent from the soccer team who pushed Danny. The opponent’s dog gets struck by a car and is perceived to be dead. Sara heals the dog and brings him back to life. Also, Sara heals her friend Mark who was paralyzed waist down after a car accident. Mark walks for the first time in a year since the accident.

Word starts traveling around town that Sara has the gift of healing the sick and injured. Many people from all over the community travel to Sara’s house for the chance to be healed. Sara heals a girl with cancer, a girl who is blind, and a boy who’s paralyzed. She gives credit for her abilities to God who is “standing by her side the entire time.” After she heals the three children, Sara suddenly faints and becomes ill.

Sara is taken to the hospital where many tests are performed on her. It’s revealed that Sara has an inoperable brain tumor and is in the process of dying. Sara’s friends and family are heartbroken, and Sara is taken to the hospital to rest. She tells her grandfather that her last wish is to be taken to the lake where she saw God. Sara’s grandfather devises a plan to break her out of the hospital and grant her last wish of being by the lake. Will God give Sara another miracle?

Story
Diana’s (Gal Gadot) story picks up in the mid-80s where she resides in Washington, DC, working at the Smithsonian and covertly (in the loosest terms possible) keeping the peace as her costumed alter ego. At work, she makes a new friend in the sweet and nerdy Barbara Minerva (Kristen Wiig), who almost immediately finds herself in awe of Diana’s entire being. Also passing through the museum, as well as through both of their grasps, is the film’s deadly dramatic object – the mysterious citrine “dream stone”, an ancient wish granting jewel sought after by the power-mad wannabe oil tycoon and TV personality, Maxwell Lord (Pedro Pascal).

Eventually, all three come to make a wish on the stone. Through a little charm and chicanery, Max obtains the stone and wishes to become the magical item itself, going on to use his newfound wish granting ability to take what he wants and slowly bring the world to a tipping point. Diana’s wish brings Steve Trevor (Chris Pine) back into her life, though Barabara’s brewing, newly granted feral attitude puts the Amazon’s second chance at love at odds with her duty to save the day.

The biggest problem Wonder Woman 1984 has is that it does almost nothing to exceed the expectations of anyone who’s been looking into this flick since last January and kept appraised of online rumors (like yours truly). From Steve’s return in a ‘Quantum Leap’-type scenario, to the Golden Eagle armor belonging to an ancient Amazon warrior named Asteria, to Max standing in for President Trump and always wanting more-more-more, most of the Reddit spoilers from February are accurate. If you’ve read them, you’ve essentially seen the movie.

Hoping for any curveballs or extra nuance? You’ll be disappointed for the most part.

Luca takes its name from its attractive hero, a popular artist played by Tovino Thomas. It tells an engaging story made all the more so by Thomas’ easy charm and natural chemistry with the charismatic heroine. Arun Bose’s direction, the writing by Mridul George and Bose himself, and the acting by the lead couple are designed to conjure up a halo of heartache around this young man who has known loss and unimaginable pain.

We are introduced early in the film to Niharika Banerjee (Njandukalude Nattil Oridavela’s Ahaana Krishna, credited here as Ahaana Krishnakumar). She is a PhD student in Kerala for some research when she accidentally bumps into Luca who, at first, comes across as a stereotypically temperamental artist. Their maiden encounter is a pleasant little overturning of the age-old “boy meets girl, boy and girl have misunderstanding, boy and girl are antagonistic towards each other which leads to an attraction that she at least masks so that she can have him chasing her, until at last they acknowledge their love for each other” Mills and Boon-style silliness.

Yes they do start off on a spat but it comes from a believable – and quite funny – situation, unlike the contrived bunkum commercial Indian cinema has been serving us for decades in this space. They clear up the misunderstanding almost immediately, there is no faking of anything between them, and they become instant friends.

With its uncommon treatment of a lead couple getting off on the wrong foot, the film ends up getting off on the right foot, its determination to steer clear of clichés becoming evident from here on. And for the most part, it does stick to its goal.

Luca’s atypicalness is one of several reasons why an aching sweetness envelops it from the start. If we get its understated messaging, good for us, but if we don’t, there is still a simple, heartwarming romance to be enjoyed here. The film does not seek to impress us with intellectual profundities although it does end up having a point to make. Many points, in fact.
