FuelService

fuelService was created by a frustrated disabled driver who knew there had to be a better way of getting gas than driving around for hours beeping his horn and hoping someone helped.

It had to be a solution that worked for everyone. Free and easy for disabled drivers, low cost but seamless for gas stations. We think we got there, but are going to fight to get to perfection.

So often services for disabled people are expensive and make lots of money for the non-disabled. fuelService is different, all the profits go to finding a cure for paralysis. We donate to Spinal Research charitites, invest in research projects and organisations who are bringing a cure closer to reality.

Travelling with disabilities

Travellers with visual, hearing, mobility or other disabilities should be aware that many other countries do not have accessibility standards comparable to those in Canada. Many countries do not have facilities to provide access to people in wheelchairs or provide services for those with hearing, visual, or other requirements.

For this reason, you should research the services available for travellers with disabilities in your destination country by contacting its government office in Canada. You should also check the website of the airport at your destination to familiarize yourself with its services for travellers with disabilities.

Wheelchair Accessible Travel Guide

Today, individuals who use a wheelchair can travel by nearly every mode of transportation to virtually everywhere in the world. But whether traveling two hours or two thousand miles away, traveling with a wheelchair still requires a lot of thought and careful planning. Wheelchair users must not only consider how to get from point A to point B, but what they need to do to prepare for the trip, whether they’ll find wheelchair accessible accommodations and attractions at their destination, and even little ways to make traveling with a wheelchair easier. Without proper planning, wheelchair users may find traveling more frustrating than accessible.
